Once Hunter himself distributed those private photos to uninvolved 3rd parties - i.e. the big arse group chat, there is obviously no expectation of privacy.

The expectation of privacy was that it wouldn’t leave the group chat. Texting a group chat does not mean the GF was free to post it on Twitter and charge $5 a view.

Also, from your link all of these below must be true - not just 1 or 2 or expectation of privacy.

quote:

(1) The defendant posted, emailed, texted, transmitted, or otherwise distributed a private image of [insert name of person depicted]; (2) The defendant did so with the intent to harass, threaten, coerce, or intimidate the person depicted; (3) The depicted person had not consented to the transmission of the private image; (4)The depicted person had a reasonable expectation of privacy against transmission of the private image; (AND) (5) The defendant did so knowingly.

The link you provided actually proves you’re a fricking moron and have zero comprehension of the law or reading comprehension in general.

LOL, no… that’s not what that means. The definition of expectation of privacy is written in the statute. You should read it.

quote:

The person depicted in the private image created or consented to its creation believing it would remain confidential.

When Hunter sent those images out to 3rd parties himself, they are no longer confidential. He did that himself.

Yeah… that’s exactly right. So in order for the ex girlfriend to be guilty of violating revenge porn statutes, all of those criteria must be met. That is exactly my point.

You have the IQ of wet cardboard.

And just to clarify this point, you are conceding that Hunter did in fact send those images and videos to the group chat.

Are you of the belief that he did so with the permission of everyone in those images?
