The only 5 star 'acquired' by Kirby that he didn't win anything with was Fields, and even if he did stay 3 years he wouldn't have won anything anyhow.

Eason was recruited and signed by Richt before he was fire about 60 days prior to signing day



So basically this is Kirby's second #1 5 star QB signed out of HS. Maybe this one will make it to year 2



btw - did Bama just have the #1 former recruit be taken #1 in the draft (first Bama player in 70 something years?) and not even win or come close to winning a Natty? I can understand why you'd cope with a lame projection
