So soon after he got destroyed by uga, he needed a strong finish, and then he had another unimpressive performance. Certainly not good enough one to suddenly become the heisman favorite. You don’t seem to have a good understanding of heisman voting.

I mean he never played another snap after "struggling" vs South Carolina and still finished 5th.

He would've been able to clean up the numbers a bit vs South Carolina (had he not been injured) as they would've been playing prevent then he could've piled on Vandy the following week.

Just my unbiased opinion.

And yet I found another article saying Bo Nix was the QB to watch.

Keep in mind, you didn't say he was in the race. You said he "likely" would have won.

I won't argue that Bennett would have gone regardless. I doubt he would have. But I doubt most people would agree that Hooker "Likely" would have won.

CAN you say it? Absolutely. CAN I say I doubt it? Absolutely. Either way neither of us can prove our point correct and it makes your "Likely" stance doubtful. It's not like his performances were getting better. His performances against Georgia and South Carolina would have tanked him.

You and Smokey act like he was going to win the Heisman with a stellar performance against Vanderbilt. No. When he faltered against Georgia and South Carolina he lost his Heisman chances.

247 on 42 throws against a bad D is not a good look. Those quotations you added imply you don’t understand that.

Dying on a hill with smokeyone is quite the decision for you.

That’s exactly what all voters are waiting to see. Certainly more so than Bennett destroying LSU on championship Saturday.

His loss to South Carolina was enough to sink his chances.
By the way....your poll showing him at 2nd was pre South Carolina.

You mean clean his numbers up against Vanderbilt? Pretty sure the committee would have been pretty unimpressed.

Just my unbiased opinion.
