Don’t think it works like this. Once they are designated SEC, ESPN owns their media rights. They will increase the contract pro rata, just not pay a premium for higher visibility.

Doesn't work like that. When the deal was signed they weren't part of the deal.
They deal was 14 teams when the contract was signed. TX and OU is added benefit. If the SEC decides the need more money because of the deal because of added value then it's up ESPn to provide the money.
Otherwise couple options for the SEC. Void the contract or sue ESPN and they will win.
Don't show any OU or TX sports on ESPN.
Or demand a restructure of the deal.
