I think you can make the case it would have been a high scoring game, but you were averaging 9 runs a game in game 3's going into that weekend. Its also not like we started slumping after that. It in all honest probably would have been a damn good game. I don't think either team was scared to play the other, or had anything to lose.

This is the correct answer, and it most likely would've been a shootout.
But
at the downvotes saying we had all the momentum going into game 3. That's not even something that can be debated. SC was talking a lot of shite during game 2 when everything started off going their way. Things changed after the 8th. I'm glad baseball is a 9 inning game.
