LSU was the first SEC team to win a national championship in football. I thought it was GT but LSU shared the title with UPENN in 1908. LSU, Pennsylvania NCF, HAF, NCF

And Georgia was the first to win it in baseball

Wrong. Bama won the first one in 1685

We cheated in 1908.
Some LSU fans will say it wasn't proven but we sought out and paid a couple of pro players(grown arse men
) to sneak down here to Baton Rouge and play for LSU.
Granted that 1908 LSU team barely gave up any points so we may have won it fairly anyhow.
But it's definitely tainted and most rational LSU fans don't want to claim it.
