think a lot of people are gonna eat these words IMO.

There’s not much In between here. I’d love to be wrong but when most teams are going rb through committee it’s a stupid pick that high

The problem is not the pick per se. It’s the number of other holes with higher priority.
It’s a good pick for the right team. Suppose the Falcons take Carter at 8 and the Eagles take Robinson at 9.
Not a bad pick for them.

Go look at the rosters of really good teams in the last several years and you'll notice a few things.

1. They don't pay QBs unless that QB is named Patrick Mahomes. Yeah, Buffalo paid Allen, but their Super Bowl window is quickly closing as a result.

2. They don't spend premium assets on RBs. Technically, I guess KC spent the #32 pick on CEH in 2020, but he hardly ever plays and there's a decent chance he is cut before the season starts. 7th round pick Isiah Pacheco was their #1 RB this past season.

3. They do spend premium assets building up their lines. The three best teams in the NFL (IMO) are Kansas City, Philadelphia, and San Francisco. They're all loaded with dominant studs on both lines of scrimmage.
