I think the point is not that this situation in and of itself was going to bring about a SMU type penalty for the program. What I was really referring to is what other things are out there that news outlets like the AJC might dig up that would give the program a black eye? Like things that opposing programs can use against you in recruiting. Things that could knock you off the top of the mountain. For example I keep waiting from someone to dig up some embarrassing dirt on Dabo that will make him crawl away from that miserable program humiliated for all time.

First off, thanks for the support.

Second, I mean I'd view it as ALMOST dereliction of duty as a fan of another program NOT give other fanbases as much grief as I can for anything and everything. Right?

That doesn't mean things are posted with vitriol. It just means we're giving you a hard time because you pull for one team and we pull for another team. Not unlike how I'd give my brother or best buddy a hard time if they stumbled and busted their butt. You always get everyone's best shot when you're on the top or on the bottom. Sometimes, it's both (see Tennessee football/baseball this year....)

You need to reread what you posted.

If there ever was dirt obtainable to the AJC, it has already been dug up. They are 100% resources activated 100% of the time aimed AT the university of Georgia.
The Ajc is who they want to be and that is the journalism rag targeting UGA nonstop.

Maybe. Maybe. There is an outlet who can find things not uncloaked by the AJC. But I doubt it.

The entire concept of a message board is differing ideas being thrown about (or at a minimum, someone else adding a perspective or knowledge of something that I haven’t been exposed to).
