Probably right. My point was more why in the world report that if it wasn't true?

Their source maybe wrong? Who knows. Lots of conflicting reports by the media.

The media also said initially that Brandon Miller blocked the victims in. Brandon Miller's lawyers said he arrived before the victim. Miller also had a dashcam that was given to police to prove that claim.

Now-a-days, due to Social Media, I think traditional media rushes to publish an article to get the "scoop". Just the world we live in, IMO.
