Which school did he graduated from? Was he really a great hired to begin with? Kelly hired was questionability at best. Kelly should be competitive but probably will never win a championship at LSU. Too much competition and blows games in key big games. Like Texas A&M and Tennessee then loses to UGA while Ed Orgeron had no problem beating UGA when Kirby coached the team.

Woodward is a Baton Rouge native and an LSU alum. There was nothing questionable about the Kelly hire. He is one of the winningest coaches in CFB. How do you make the snap judgment that he will never win a championship at LSU after winning the SEC West in his first year coming off of a losing season?

Woodward is good at throwing tons of money at established coaches. He did it with Kelly and Kim Mulkey. He did it with Jimbo when he was at A&M. With MBB he had to go out and find a talented up and coming HC due to the circumstances, and he failed miserably. I don't trust him to identify coaching talent.

hes never really had to. hes pretty good at fundraising and seems to have built alot of relationships with coaches in all athletics. Mcmahon may or may not work out but was a bit of a headscratcher.
