Athens is an awesome town but don’t go in opposing colors if you want to enjoy your time. They are the absolute worst. Not even close either Imo. I can go to Tuscaloosa in orange and blue and have good convos. Never in athens. I will go right at game time if i go to athens ever again for a game. People are the biggest assholes on the planet on gameday. I can’t even imagine now that they’re winning constantly.

The last couple of times there haven't been many AU fans in Athens, so it probably isn't much of an issue anymore.

I am bias but Tuscaloosa is probably one of the more pleasant opposing fan experiences you can have at a real blueblood. I’ve checked people for crossing the lines with the opposing fans in my section. I’ve seen others do it.
Student section may be a different beast though.
