How does mizzou get Vandy? Sorry we aren’t giving up our historic rivalry with them!

One of the reasons is that Mizzou fans don’t travel as good as most SEC teams, so they might be giving us closer away games.

Fayetteville-4 hours 46 minutes
Nashville-6 hours 6 minutes
Lexington-6 hours 38 minutes
Norman-6 hours 46 minutes
Oxford-6 hours 47 minutes

There are other options that cost less that keep a lot fans from traveling. Chiefs, Cardinals, Blues, And Royals games. There are some DII powerhouses that have really good home game atmosphere’a and are really fun to go to.

Chiefs home games cost about the same or a little more, but closer to home and no hotel. Great atmosphere with average attendance over 73,000.

Cardinals games are cheaper. Great atmosphere with a long tradition that started in 1892. They have an average attendance over 40,000 for 81 home games since 2005(not including COVID year). From 1985 to 2004 averaged over 30,000 a game.

Went to a Royals Cardinals game in KC a few years ago and it cost less than $80 for 4 tickets and parking.

It’s hard for a lot us to go to away games. I have 3 youth practice’s in the week, High School game on Friday, and youth games on Saturday.

We will get more fans at 1 of those 5 schools compared to a 14 hour drive to UF or a 12 hour drive to SC, A&M, and Texas.

I mean UF fans don't travel well either and they're giving us the furthest away that we've played twice as an annual game.

Mizzou barely gets fans at home games. They do not have the passion of a typical SEC team.
