But it isn’t. The other team deserves the opportunity to play offense.

LaTech had 6 other innings to score more runs.

The closest analogy would be OT in college football.

Imagine if a game ended in a tie, but after one team kicked a FG in the first OT period, lightning delayed the game, then rain and lightning prevented the rest of the game from being played.

Only one team got to play offense for the OT period so they had a lead. Does the team that didn’t get to get their offensive shot in OT just lose?

I’m sure you be fine if state football lost a game like that
