Just a reminder for those wanting Miller suspended

Kelly also oversaw the Notre Dame program when Lizzy Seeberg, a student at nearby St. Mary’s College, reported a Notre Dame football player had sexually assaulted her. A different Fighting Irish player texted her “Don’t do anything you would regret. Messing with Notre Dame football is a bad idea.” Overcome with fear that the player would never face any consequence, and that the athletes in a program she so revered growing up would therefore feel emboldened to continue abusing women, she ended her own life.
Confronted with questions about Seeberg’s death and his team’s possible role in causing it, Kelly joked that he couldn’t believe the Chicago Tribune still employed so many reporters.
The next year, according to reporting from the National Catholic Reporter, a Notre Dame student opted not to tell police about being raped by a Fighting Irish football player because she remembered the way Seeberg coming forward elicited only hostility and indifference.
Not a single player was suspended in this case.

Did Brandon Miller bring her the gun?

All their lives, women Lizzy's age have been taught to report unwanted touching. But after she did, the same friend of the player who'd left her alone with him sent her a series of text messages that scared her as much as the player himself had. "Don't do anything you would regret," he wrote. "Messing with Notre Dame football is a bad idea." Over the next 10 days, Lizzy became convinced he was right about that. The player wasn't hard to find on the practice field each afternoon, so what were investigators waiting for?

The player's lawyer, Notre Dame alumnus Joe Power, isn't whispering. He shouted in my ear about the "complete phony lie" designed to slander an exemplary young gentleman. His client, who has never been named or made to miss a football practice, had a reputation as a young man with a temper among some parents at his high school, and was suspended from high school over allegations of misbehavior.
Just a reminder that Brian Kelly was completely on board with slandering the victim in this case.

Notre dame not lsu
Saban let upshaw beat up a girl nothing done
Keep acting like bama has no issues
Every power 5 has issues when you are dealing with college age entitled athletes
I’ve been following lsu for a long time and have no recollection of lsu athletes heading to bars and being involved in a murder because a girl refused their advances, a fight, yes but not murder
The constant spin from bama to other schools is embarrassing and the refusal to even entertain the seriousness that someone was murdered is really hard to fathom

Notre Dame should have kicked that player out of school.
See how this works.

Makes it worse. You hired him knowing about the incident. Or you didn't research it, which shows even further stupidity. Your pick.

If Brian Kelly hadn't forced Declan Sullivan up that tower, he would still be alive

I think this case is far more damning than that one really.

You can agree that both situations are fricked up, while also recognizing what a completely ridiculous comparison it is.
Comparing an accident to a murder?

Catholics get away with murder

Since when is rape and a coverup that led to a suicide an accident?

Sorry, there was another post referring to the kid that died at practice and I mixed the two posts up.
Regarding your post, I’m not sure why people feel the need to make these false equivalencies.
I’m not familiar with the situation you are referencing, but based on what you have quoted, isn’t Brian Kelly the Nate Oates in this scenario?
Can’t they both be wrong?

Tn suspends Vitello for tampering and Alabama never lets Miller miss a minute even though he brought a gun for a thug to murder a young lady. Tells you all you need to know.
