This is woefully incorrect

You can read the text Miles sent, and still not think he was going to use the gun, much less use it for murder

His text did not say “I need my gun to kill someone”.

So you believe Miller is innocent. Good to hear. Now tell your brethren. Because everybody on this site said if Miller read the text then he knew Miles needed his gun for a reason. And that reason was to shoot someone. So the theory of Miles wanting his gun for protection is viable. Or he intended to use it to shoot someone. Otherwise why the text?
