Bama has to play him. They’ve double downed on the fact that they knew everything and in their eyes everything he did is up to their standards for a student. If they sit him they’re admitting they were wrong. He will play the rest of the season and bama will just hope that people will forget about everything and that he will avoid being charged or sued until after the NCAA tourney.

I could see them sitting him, especially against USCe, without officially suspending him, and maintaining that he did nothing wrong, because of the distraction it would cause the team.
