#1 UCLA is a state school and I will believe the move after it happens, not before

#2 Your list has little real value the better move would be to merge the PAC with the B12 (sans OU and Utx) then cull the herd till you get down to just 12 - 16 schools

Yeah, it seems like they were trying to do just that — the brief "Alliance" between the ACC, Big Ten, and Pac-12 was interesting.

In 2021 those three ended up being the only dissenters against a 12-team CFP happening in this current contract, in part (again) citing revenue distributions and the TV contract.

And then like a year later, their friendship seems to have dissolved.
