Players are shooting a higher percentage at the free throw line and on “open looks” nationally than they were 20 years ago statistically. Guys are more skilled.
The problem is the way the game is officiated with superior athletes.
Watch clips of Auburn/Tennessee and watch what goes on off the ball. Guys just getting held, grabbed and practically tackled everywhere they go off the ball. 2 hands on guys almost every second.

Where a small reach in that wouldn’t have been called 10 years ago, gets a quick whistle. Or a “hip bump”.
The inconsistency between what is called on ball on the perimeter and what is called in the paint or off the ball is next level infuriating.
And don’t even get me started on loose ball fouls.

What grinds my gears is when a ref 30 feet away calls a foul instead of the one near the play.

Cbb teams are fully retarded. Look at someone crossways and it’s a foul. Weak men.
