I would go down as one of if not the worst loss in Bama history. On par with the 1989 AU win.

Pretty doubtful though. We will see next week if AU is likely to have any chance whatsoever. We rested most of our D yesterday. Marks and Coleman our two best players did not even dress out. Tubs said he rolled the dice not dressing or playing so many starters, but just trying to get the team rested for the two that count. By the way, Burns had a career day with over 300 yards offense by himself. I know agianst a D2 team, but it will help his confidence - this was only his third game as the full time starter.

I thought we were playing our starters for that game... if we didn't that makes me feel slightly better. We played them way to close in the first three quarters for comfort.

The 1989 game would not be able to hold a candle to an upset this year. For some reason people forget that AU was 10-2 that year. AU was a very good football team.
