Nebraska hasn’t proven they can overcome poor instate recruiting.

You're close. Nebraska's move to the B1G was their downfall. But you can't blame them. Texas was the culprit behind that, though. When they came up with that 'Longhorn Network' and decided they wouldn't share revenues Nebraska, Colorado, Missouri, and A&M left. All were pissed because the Big 12 allowed Texas to have the Longhorn Network and not share revenues.

Nebraska was recruiting well when they were with the Big 12. They had exposure in Texas, Oklahoma, etc where the conference footprint was. Once they went to the B1G they were, more or less, a foreign entity in that part of the country.

And as an aside. The SEC needs to be very careful when Texas finally joins the conference. They are leeches and will only seek to benefit themselves at the cost of other conference members.

You get that from CNN?

Look up the history of teams in the B12 negotiating their own tv deals and by earliest date.. Nebraska was the first and Texas was the 4th.

Texas AD DeLoss Dodds was outvoted three years in a row trying to put together a conference tv deal, while at the same time 3 other programs were trying to work their own deal.

Look back at every conference revenue and media vote and get back to me.. the Nebraska, A&M and Missouri spins are pure fantasy.
