The Ole Miss recruiting thread on their board is full of copium….but of course the only way Auburn could beat OM out for a recruit is to pay him a lot of money

quote:

What’s going on with in state recruiting given the size of our NIL, we only have 2 of the top 10 committed?? #1 Franklin skipping Juice Fest seems like he’s not coming to Ole Miss. Any shot at flipping #2 Waller? #4 Harrel #7 Burnside #8 Hibbler are all committed to State along with the #6 OL Jimothy Lewis. #6 Hill and #9 Daniels are both looking to go out of state. Looks like we might get #10 Noreel White but he still hasn’t committed for whatever reason. #11 through #22 are all committed to other schools. And we took commitments from #23 #24 #25 #32 #34 And currently Stanford has as many top 20 commitments in Mississippi as Ole Miss does. What the frick is going on?

It’s difficult for them to accept that their coach is not an elite recruiter, and that the only reason he wasn’t winning more recruits was due to lack of NIL support from the fan base was bullshite. Ole Miss NIL co-op is sited as a very active and solid co-op.

I mean they can’t even beat out State for some instate recruits and they think they are on an even playing field or higher than Auburn?

As we move forward they will become painfully aware that their boosters did us a huge favor retaining Kiffin. In their own thread the way describe Kiffin’s HS recruiting it isn’t quite on the level as Harsin but it looks awfully familiar.
