It is crazy that as great as Spurrier was and as weak as the SEC was in the 90s, he could only win 1 national title.

Despite being an offense that embarrassed people with regularity, it had a tendency to being off at least a game or two every year. With the rules they were back then, you could throw the passing rhythm off and the whole offense went to shite for a few quarters.
