Listening to his speech I may be overthinking things but it seems like he has a little bit of animosity towards dawg nation. Can’t say it’s not warranted but man that was kinda awkward

I guess it’s tough to stand up there and say "thanks for the support" when the supporters and the harshest critics have been largely the same crowd for the past 3 years. In all fairness I’ve never seen a QB ridiculed more than him for given everything he accomplished but he could have handled the moment a little better.

Are y'all sure he wasn't referring to the haters outside of Dawgnation? The ones who said that success would not come to a team that lost so much?

I’ll defend Stet to the death, but dude had a chip on his shoulder this season and today. He led us to back to back when half the fanbase wanted him to ride off in the sunset instead of come back. This wasn’t just a championship parade for him this year. It was a “How do you like me now” tour

I haven’t seen any of the parade today so I can’t comment. But I’ll never forget how bad it got mostly last year. On the inter webs and from assholes in the real world. It definitely changed the way I think of dawg nation forever, so if he really did act that way , I don’t see how anyone can blame him. Especially when the chip on shoulder DNA thing is what makes him so great.
I just hope someone will whisper into his ear something about how f’n valuable his legacy is monetarily for the rest of his days. So maybe don’t poke your lip out and throw the baby out with the bath water just so you can say ‘frick you’ to the shittiest among us.

I just saw some quotes, Def odd. If it messed with him that much perhaps he shouldn't of continued. Glad this whole stet things is in the past now. Hope he does well wherever he goes. ....To clarify, it almost sounded like he was saying this to Dawgs fans. Which I really hope is not the case

He basically said frick you to everyone that doubted him and some other shite I couldn’t really make out. Honestly he seemed hungover more than anything but a tad bitter

I know he has a chip on his shoulder but he still needs to learn how to hide it when he gets the microphone. He is in a perfect spot as a UGA legend to be one of the most beloved players to walk through the arches and he should be playing that up by being endearing through humility and thankfulness with no room for bitterness, at least in public.

Yeah Stetson definitely gave no fs today, i hope he'll have successful career in the professional sports whether it's nfl or xfl.

Stetson is truly the case of people thinking stars matter and never getting the respect he deserved for his play. He was better than 99pct of 5 stars that weve recruited and that is just a fact. People for years that anyone could run our offense and be successful and that he was a game manager and then he put the team on his shoulders in the playoffs and carried. He was that dude. I love the chip. He should say FK you to all the haters.

I mean Shockley asked him if he had anything to say to Dawg nation and that was his response.
But he also stumbled for a bit then looked at Shockley directly and said, "yall kill us..." or whatever. So I could see how he could have been directing it at the media or the fan base.
It kinda upsets me as one of the vocal supporters of Stetson the whole way (my post history has the receipts) because I feel like there is resentment there to the fan base but it wasn't all of us. We were just drowned out by all the assholes.
