Ok...so?

I don't know how UGA manages co-DCs (and I assume you don't either). If the co-DCs have to work together, come to an agreement on game plans, etc., maybe he butts heads with Muschamp and doesn't want to collaborate with him anymore.

Just saying there could be reasons he wants to leave that don't have anything to do with which job gives him a better chance of being a head coach.
