Auburn is a smoldering heap of ashes right now, back-to-back losing seasons and on their 3rd coaching staff in 3 years. BUT they are just as wealthy as any program in the country, evidenced by the $50MM they've forked out for contract buyouts + the $100MM football facility in the last 3 yrs. They have a war chest ready for NIL and they're unloading as much $$ as needed to raise the program out of the ashes.

And we’ve always been a program desperate to keep up with Alabama.

I have no problem admitting we’ll be like A&M and spend gobs of money to bring in talent. It’s not like it’s illegal anymore. Unlike A&M being saddled with a dud head coach, I like Freeze to know what to do with talent.

For those thinking this latest era of CFB hinders Auburn as a program, you don’t know us very well.
