Couple of good points. Kirby is responsible for the culture. He gets players who genuinely like to play football and hit - hit very hard. I think in this day and age there are a sect of 5 stars that want to money grab with the NIL. Kirby is taking advantage of this and gets 5 stars who want NIL, want to win championships, and play in the NFL. Monken is a great coordinator and Stetson came back and obviously learned the playbook very well. I imagine as long as Monken is here we will excel on offense. As far as Kirby's future, I wonder how long he will keep coaching. I don't think he will test the NFL, but it wouldn't surprise me if he won 2 more NC's if he decided to step down for a few years. I would expect if that happens he would stay tied to UGA in some capacity. Just some things he said last year in his interview after the NC. He was expressing how much he disliked some things about college football like the transfer portal. Still he is the king of the state. He could keep building up his foundation while coaching UGA. He should be able to keep guys like Bobo and Muschamp around to help him manage the program. I think one key to Kirby staying for the long haul will be his ability to maintain coaches that help him run the program. Saban seems to be losing that ability after all the attrition he has had.

I truly can't see another year where UGA isn't in the playoffs as long as Smart is our coach. I think we have a better team moving into next year than we have the previous two years, and we three peat. After that, there is no way in hell Kirby doesn't have a team not in the top 12. The crazy thing is, he kinda makes it look easy. He has built a winning system, and it's plug and play with four and five stars and great coaching hires. There may be a year where he sees a lot of coaches leave all at once, but that is the only thing that can stop this train. It's a great feeling to be an alumni, and after this semester, my daughter will join me as a graduate. I had the pleasure of spending the weekend with her and soaking in this championship. Memories that will last a lifetime!
