20 B*MA shouldn't even be in the conversation. They only played 12 games and weren't playing against any sort of hostile crowds. Not to mention the constant attrition to Covid and all that nonsense.

Good team? Sure...but they are missing about a quarter of the resume.

That would be like crowning 2022 Tennessee the best ever based on the first half of the year.

This point actually makes the 2020 Bama team even more impressive.
1. They had to go undefeated in 12 games when others played in 8.
2. They had to overcome injuries of a “full” season while most other conferences played a super shortened season.
3. They had to run through 11 SEC opponents. No other team has ever done that.
4. They beat the hell out of everyone. Not one game was in question in the 4th quarter. Florida in the SEC championship was the closest thing to a close game but Florida used all of the clock to score late to get it to an 8 point game.
