Says the guy who’s team doesn’t just refuse to play other state schools besides Auburn

We play the only P5 program - a 2-time national championship program - in our state every year. Y’all haven’t played Tulane in 13 years. Congrats on beating up on Southeastern Louisiana, La Tech and McNeese State.

Tulane wants a home and home series and G5s don’t get that. If they want to play, they need to grow up and accept reality. This isn’t the 90s and we aren’t playing them in the Dome ever again.

As for the rest, keeping money in-state (and that includes ULL, ULM and LA Tech) rather than paying big guarantees to random arse shite G5 and FCS programs is better for all involved. It’s not like any of them will ever be any kind of threat. And none of them are ridiculous enough to consider even asking for a 2 for 1, much less a home and home series. They each take their beating and check and move along.

Tulane is welcomed to come back to Tiger Stadium and get both any time they want to drop the act.

LSU does an EXCELLENT job of playing ALL the in-state football programs in Louisiana on a rotating basis- keeping those dollars in the state

Bama has not played an in-state school NOT named Auburn since playing Howard University, which is now Samford, back in 1944

Tulane won’t play us outside New Orleans. Why should we give up a home game just to play them? Serious question.
