Then why do your goober fans keep bringing up that Sugar Bowl from several years ago where the same exact situation occurred? The only thing anyone remembers about that game is the hilarious "we're baaaaack" post-game proclamation.
It's because you have absolutely nothing else to crow about. A decade plus and absolutely nothing to show for it. For a supposed "blue blood". Sad.
