Because people saying OSU is terrible watched one game.

But that game was

1) The only game they played anyone decent

2) Their most recent game

3) At home

4) Against a team built like Georgia

5) They got blown the hell out

Was that the Northwestern, ND, or Michigan game?

If Penn State cleared out Jordan-Hare Stadium and destroyed Auburn, while LSU had to pull one out of their butt against Auburn in the same stadium, what does that make LSU then?

I'm all for some Big 10 trash talk and SEC is the best stuff, but after a while it just gets bizarre.

I think Vegas is thinking UGA has some issues in the secondary. With OSU being a passing team that they can exploit those issues.

My take. Kirby has three weeks to fix it. I would bet on Kirby.

Agree completely. Everyone is telling the Pugs how good they are & everyone telling the walNUTS how bad they are...it's a bad deal for GA! Plus, it's a matter of perception vs. reality.

Look at the Pugs schedule for a minute. Perception - pretty good. Reality - it was CREAMPUFF, and filled with one pillow fight after another. Oregon was just terrible. The Smoky mutts were just decent, but soft. L$U was average, but weak. sUcK, well, they SUCK. The Roosters suck. The Commodes, Kent State, Misery, Ga technology Bumblebees, Flori-DUH, Samford?, etc...those are all Homecoming games! Tampon City. No wonder the Pugs think they're so "great"!

Now, look at brutus walNUT's schedule for a second. They are battle tested and ready. They played a premium schedule, all in the toughest Division in college football...and yet only lost 1 game. Now, does that mean GA is scared? No, but it does mean that o$u is RELIEVED that they avoided MICHIGAN in the semi's and play the Pugs.

After playing in the B10 every week, the rest of the field pales in comparison, too. Good luck to the Pug doggies, but I believed Vegas should have made THEM touchdown underdogs, not the walNUTS. Ga and their fans will NOT take this loss well, but they have to move on...

Ohio State will beat Georgia and it won’t be a close game. Very similar to the A1abana/Clemson 44-16 massacre a few years ago.

I believe Clemson was +7 that night.

Ohio State: 41
Georgia: 20

Book. It.

I think you're about right, but got it backwards.

UGA - 42
Buckeyes - 20

I just can't see Ohio state putting together long drives, and at the same time I can't see their defense stopping those 6'8" 280 tight ends running free down the middle

I had no fear of Michigan last year and thought that Georgia/Michigan was a mismatch. This game feels different though.

Michigan didn't have enough talent to compete and their players were just all gung ho and happy to be in south Florida in late December and enjoying the ride.

Ohio State will be the more jacked up team and they'll have the emotional edge. They also have just as many talented players if not more than Georgia. Ohio State's players aren't coached up and trained as well as Georgia's players, but the talent is just as good if not better.

Basically Ohio State is the only team that's been recruiting at Alabama and Georgia's level in the last 5 years. They also have the first round quarterback and Georgia doesn't.

Kirby's basically gonna have to earn that 11 million dollar, but I never be against Kirby. No coach these days knows how to calibrate his team to get ready to play a game like Kirby.

UGA and Ohio St are 1/2 in the 247 talent composite

Anytime talent is near equal anything can happen

It’s been steady at -6.5 since it opened. Sometimes you can get it at -105.

My guess is volume has been pretty low so far. I’d guess you’ll see some line movement after Christmas.

They also had a terrible Northwestern team keep it close.

Good points, I guess I just always feel that kids that go to B1G northern schools have a built in over-rating. I think we've seen that over the years when the northern schools finally meet an SEC team on the field they usually get run. Ever since the national championship started getting settled on the field instead of with polls the SEC has dominated. The reason why is this built in over rating of big northern and western schools with huge alumni bases.

I'm not really rooting for Georgia, I'm an LSU fan but frick Ohio State anyway.
