As far as Leach in the SEC, we all needed that game in 2020 against LSU

I'm sure he beat better teams but when the pandemic was at or nearing its' peak with lockdowns and sports being nonexistent - it was the marquee game on the first weekend of SEC football. The hype surrounding Miss State after that win - it felt like he could come into the SEC and get Miss State in a position to compete for division titles. Here's their bandwagon video with Leach they posted the week after:

I've seen a ton of reporters today giving testimonials as to what an amazing person he was. During 2020 when everything was shite Leach was what we - as fans - needed. A guy who didn't give a damn and was going to be himself.
