The question is why would Leach have CHF? He has never been obese, doesn’t smoke, and by all accounts he walks/exercises a lot.

You are listing things that contribute to the likelihood of CHF, but that doesn't mean you still can't get it.

Also, although he's not obese per se`, he is overweight and has been for decades.

Could be genetics

A virus (such as c19) can damage the heart muscle and drastically change a healthy heart to one in severe stress.

I think this was in WSU, that is why I asked if he was still doing so in Starkville.

He does look like he is heavier the past few years and more weight means more strain on the heart.
