Saban knew we weren't getting in but his job is to get his team ready to play the next game. Fighting for his team and then getting slighted by the committee is the best way to get your team ready for the next game. If Bama destroys KSU (the team that beat TCU) then they prove the committee wrong.

proves nothing. the transitive property doesn't work in football.
never has.
but the moment either TCU or tOSU get blown out, then the chatter of "did the committee get it wrong" will start.
