All losses aren’t the same? That I agree with. A TCU loss dropped them zero places, which has never happened in history.

OSU got drubbed by Michigan but 22 on their home field and they move up without even playing. TCU doesn’t move so the big 10 has 2 semifinal games and the possibility to guarantee themselves a title.

I’m not saying we absolutely deserved to be in, but given the way rankings have always worked, there were definite irregularities with the selection process this year that have never before happened.

Have any of you actually read the list of committee members and their conference affiliation? It’s no wonder the results came out this way once you see the list.

If Bama had some bigger wins, I think the case could’ve been made but that’s just not the way it worked out. We didn’t deserve to be in and were hoping for mass chaos to happen and then back in. Not only would there have been a bunch of backlash for TCU losing their spot because they played in a championship game, it also would’ve been a shite show from Tennessee, Clemson, and USC fans. The clean thing for the committee to do was to keep TCU in. They should’ve dropped to 4th but it is what it is.

Now if TCU would’ve gotten run out of the stadium yesterday (which I think was about to happen until KSU fumbled that punt), I believe we would’ve gotten in.
