The committee tends to avoid rematch so I highly doubt Michigan and Ohio State will be #2 and #3.
The reason the committee ranked OSU above us was if encase TCU were to lose.Because there is noway you rank them below a OSU at 4.Even If both Mich and TCU had lost you still could not have ranked OSU above either of them.
Because they OSu still would have the worst lost of any team being considered out of the 3 (Bama,TCU & OSU for the last 2 spots.
Its crazy that the talking heads feel that OSU is locked in while TCU vs Bama is the debate.
Right now our 2 losses are still not worst than OSU getting stomped at home.
But If you drop TCU from 3 were do you put them?
You can put them ahead of any other team at 4 between Bama/OSU,Tenn,Clemson.
But you cant put OSU above them which means to keep OSU in you have to hold TCU at 3.If you put us in over OSU at 4 and TCU at 3, then people will say whats the difference in last week and this week.when both teams did not play.
Its easier to make a case for us over OSU based on how all three teams lost.I can easily except 1 lost is better than 2 when it comes to TCU. But as you can tell my problem is in which the way (fashion) OSU lost.
I posted this a while back after they OSU were ranked ahead of us at 5.

What top 5 team in the history of rankings has ever been blown out at home and stayed in the top 5 ? Also the quick whistle to stop a Michigan scoop and score on the QB fumble with 2:10 in 4th Qt at the Osu 39yrd line. That would have maybe resulted in Mich maybe putting 52 on them. I just dont see putting them at 5
That quick whistle preventing maybe 50 points on OSU at home could be the difference is them being at 5 and us at 6 last week.
As for us-
The pick play at LSU you live with because its a boom boom play. But The Kool Aid INT flag thrown 30 yards later combined with 16 other calls against you is a crime.
