If Alabama wins the West, the world is normal. If not, West is weak. Seasons like 2010 and 2019 don’t count.
College football has been around from 1923-1946. It resumed from 1958-1982. There was one season in 1992. Then it has been played again since 2007. Alabama invented football.

Not sure why that matters. It is more along the lines that all the teams in the west have struggled this year. Auburn and Texas A&M are absolute dumpster fires. Arkansas barely above that.

Basically the west is what the east was.
