Thought that was a weird substory to Saturday's meeting — Saban of course had covid in 2020, and Steve Sarkisian served as interim coach for that game.

Also interesting to note, back during that same year (2018) as Saban's previous IB in BDS, Carnell Williams was the running backs coach at IMG Academy.

Midway through the schedule, Bryce Young's Mater Dei had upset IMG in a national No. 1 vs. No. 3 matchup, which came as IMG's only loss, and propelled Mater Dei to a high school football "national championship" that season.

So in 2018, Saban beat Auburn 52-21.

Also in 2018, Bryce Young beat Carnell Williams 28-24.

Science would thus indicate we roll to a comfortable 80-45 victory.
