As you point out, the signs may not have been as effective as they should’ve been (see circled tweet):



My gut feeling: The team entrance firing was just implemented mid-season this year, and pre-game procedures clearly weren’t as tightly locked down as they should’ve been (i.e., far more unstructured activity on the field pre-game vs. structured in-game activity).

You can bet your arse it won’t happen again.

I’ve more than said my peace on this issue. Minds won’t be changed; such is life.
