What do you expect him to say? They are embarrassed that they stood in front of a camera after they were warned to move. This should be a lesson when someone tells you to move then move.

I would say you are right, I would be embarrassed after such an incident but they are young and doing what they were told.
I would not have fired the cannon myself because of prayer>traditions.
