I’m curious why you think this. The loser of that game would have the exact same credentials as UT, non-division winning 1-loss season. The difference is IT would have beaten Bama and LSU, two top ten ranked teams, while OSU’s best win would be Penn state or maybe ND. UM’s would be PSU
