Why would Auburn hire Kiffin knowing good and well when Saban retires, Kiffin would go to Bama....IF Bama offers???

First of all nobody wants to follow Saban. Then, Bama would never hire anyone who has an AU connection. Dye would have been a better choice instead of Perkins, Curry or even Stallings at the point the openings occurred. Dye spent 8 years at Bama and knew the system. But his decision to go to AU killed it.
