He compiled a list of effectively every single coach that might possibly be connected to the job, then guaranteed that the hire would be a name from that list because he's such an insider, don't you know. Of course, Auburn hired someone whose name was not on the list. But that's not even the best part. After having been proven conclusively and completely wrong, he has not only refused to admit it but has since been claiming that he was actually proven correct. How on earth that could possibly be true is something that a normal mind will never be able to comprehend. Irons is a special kind of guy, and yes, I absolutely mean that kind of special.
