Actually, it wouldn't if Bryce stays on the field. When McElwain ran it down Spurrier's throat in 09, McElroy stayed on the field and was a wide out. Yet, we ran it down their throats because Mark Ingram, Barrett Jones, James Carpenter, Mike Johnson, and Colin Peek. Didn't need the extra blocker. And a DB still has to go out with the QB just in case.

Still an extra blocker because it draws his man out

Bryce just isn’t a running option. Wildcat is based off numbers in the box and pre snap movement of the defense based on motion
