That’s rough and honestly it’s unacceptable considering the talent we returned on defense. At no point last night did I expect our defense to step up and force a crucial TO. Even early on to help with the field position battle. Prime example of why Golding should be toast.
Couple that with our penalties and it’s easy to see things are the way they are….and that doesn’t even include our offensive woes.

JMO but you've over estimated talent. You did see our so-called fast RB get rundown by the LSU safety last night. Who beside Will is elite on our defense and even Will has dropped down to simply good at this point unless we play ULM or Utah State. Truth is you have a 10 more that are average players on defense.

Exactly. On defense, there's precious little compared to some of the teams we're comparing them to. Most guys starting on defense would struggle to get on the field if they were on the 2015-2016 rosters.

6 TOs is the most telling stat of the season. In 9 games. I was watching Daniels' expression and body language during the game yesterday. It was the same as every other qb we've played this year. He looked like he was out for a stroll in the park. No stress. No concern. No pressure. We never came close to forcing him to put the ball in danger. The pressure never got home while the ball was exposed. He got the throw he wanted on the first read or had an escape route to run. Against a defense that starts 8 juniors and seniors.

My biggest issue. Our HC is a DB guru yet our DBs consistently have issues.
When was the last time a DB made a game changing play? Interception? We look lost every game.

I don't think UGA has a more talented defense than we do and they flat out shut down UT. That's coaching and scheme.
Sitting back and waiting to die against elite offenses doesn't work.
