Don't fk this up Auburn. Any ex coordinator should be eliminated from contention.

is this based on marcello's opinion or based on his inside info?

Steven Godfrey basically said Lane and Deion, with the unexpected outside candidate, a la Cohen for AD.

I’m guessing both with later guiding his opinion

Said Lane would get 10M a year if he comes to Auburn
I was thinking: there’s always a method to Lane’s madness and him tweeting that pic of leaving Tennessee along with all the jabs he is taking at his fans not showing up for early games, getting out bid for coordinators etc, etc might just be some clues that Sexton has been working things for weeks now. Just a thought.

Sounded like it was Lane from every single one of his best Auburn contacts
He was saying all this on JOX just now

How can we afford Lane plus his buyout? I’ve heard his buyout is like 14 mil.

No Rhule?
Stoops and Grimes that high?
This does not give me a great feeling. Hopefully has no idea what he’s talking about

Pretty strange since he has already reached out to Auburn on his own

Do we have evidence of this or just rumors?

Back in February, Marcello was in all of the Twitter spaces trying to glean information from fans. When pressed in those rooms, he admitted to knowing as much as anyone else there
Not dunking on Marcello. I think it’s obvious Kiffin will be a target and he probably makes the most sense on paper. I think that’s why essentially every outlet has him at the top of Auburn’s rumored board. All of these names are guys we’ve been talking about here months. Just is what it is

He sounded VERY sure
Said Lane is and has been the #1 target and that there is a huge ground swell of support for Prime by not only fans but some very influential power brokers.
