Upvote, I hope you are correct.
I think the committee considers how teams have developed over the season.
Tennessee blew out LSU at Baton Rouge and LSU is looking like a much-improved team.

They beat Pitt and Florida on the road, Pitt in OT.

The win vs Florida at home was not impressive and since we beat Florida easily by 22, I am hopeful that this comparison bodes well for our team.

They of course beat #1 Alabama at home but objectively the game could have gone either way.

But I think the blow out over #19 Kentucky is probably what swayed the committee in the end.

Regarding our ranking, I think the committee is probably factoring our injuries into the equation and without our stellar defense from last season, I think they might question Bennett's ability to match the Tennessee offense with Hooker at the helm.

It' going to be an interesting game.
I'm hoping that Bennett will have the best game of his career making good reads, accurate passes and running when the opportunity presents itself.

Fun fact.. The team that was ranked #1 in the first week of the CFP rankings has never won the CFP. Tennessee is screwed, thanks committee!

Sorry I heard that wrong, I’m FAKE NEWS!

NO turnovers, disciplined football (low to no penalties) and fewer dropped passes by receivers and we dominate. Next man up to fill Nolan's spot! Also seeing the potential for rain. IF so, could favor the team with the best run game. We shall see.

GO DAWGS!
