The Utah State sexual assault scandal? That ruled out Hartwell. Freeze was Hartwell's choice. 2nd AD choice was Cohen who turned Freeze into NCAA. Sexton gets word and Freeze signs extension. Now Cohen has Mullen, Rhule or Grimes to pick from? That about right?

It won't be Kiffin. I would have put my money on Freeze but the signing of the extension has a really weird timing too it. It fits with the strong rumors that Hartwell was the guy until he wasn't. Which fits with the Utah State story.
That and Cohen hates Freeze and strongly dislikes Kiffin. But keep believing what you want to believe.

The AD is not going to hire someone just because they like him. It is all about who can win at Auburn, and Kiffin and Freeze are the top two choices.

Leave them alone. It helps them cope with the inevitable loss of kiffin. May well not be auburn but he’ll jump and the first opportunity to a higher tier school.
