My best friend is a TN fan but not a life long one. As an LSU fan from birth and having seen LSU reach the highs how exciting is this season thus far? College football kicks arse!

The team is exciting to watch and for the first time in my life (I go back to Doug Dickey in the 60s who was a great coach at Tennessee) Tennessee has a coach opponents have to adjust to.

Most fans were hoping for 9-3. We definitely didn't think we were beating Alabama. It's all gravy from this point forward. We are just enjoying the ride.

I was there the last time LSU played in Knoxville. Multiple flyovers pregame and of course the monsoon that came in. Was a great time.

8-4 was my preseason pick. This team has far beyond exceeded my expectations. But I also know not to get comfortable cause this last 15 years has been pure hell.

I’m happy for all of the folks in their 20s and younger who have no memory of 98 or remember us ever being worth a damn. If Heupel keeps this up, it may not be this year, but he can, should and will win us another title in Knoxville.

This one is just so improbable because we’re playing with depleted scholarship numbers. Hooker really has taken a shine to this offense and the team in general has bought into this coach unlike any team we’ve had since the prime Fulmer era. There have been teams with more “recruiting star” talent than this in the last 15 years that couldn’t make a bowl game. This team has a shot this weekend of passing the biggest hurdle to reach Atlanta.

We had seats under the partition, had ponchos, and still were completely soaked.

It’s crazy how much of an advantage an experienced, accurate, smart QB can be in the college game. Hendon is easy to root for.

My buddies and I often talk about how when you think about it, in a planet of 8 billion or so people, there are so few that can play QB at an elite level. Both college and pros. Kinda nuts

I actually predicted 10-2 for the Vols this season. Didn’t think we’d lose to anyone but Bama and Georgia. So I had high expectations and they’ve still been exceeded.

Very fun to have Vols be nationally relevant again.
