Looking to get 2-3 extra drops put in at a rental house in BR. Had a large well-known company come out and they quoted me almost $9K to replace the ductwork that their company had installed 2 years ago. Any recommendations of reputable smaller companies or individuals is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

SOP, you cant just add 2-3 drops like that, you need to upsize the tonnage of the whole system or add a system for those 2-3 extra drops.

its not like a water line, you cant just hook as many drops as you want to it, it only has a certain amount CFMs for each ton and only so many ducts can be used per ton, 2-3 extra drops needs at minimum, another ton bigger system then you have now.

I've used PhD in HVAC several times. They've done great work and the pricing has been more than fair.
