Saban said that they had more of the story than has been reported and after getting the story he didn’t feel that he needed to suspend him. That’s an important thing to mention. I’m not saying he should or shouldn’t have been suspended, nor am I defending anything Burton did, but I believe Alabama gathered all of the info they could on the matter.
